Following on the heels of rumors about a possible merger between St. Louis-based Bryan Cave and Squire Sanders & Dempsey of Cleveland, two of the largest Missouri law firms are speculated to be merging.

Combining St. Louis-based Husch & Eppenberger and Stinson Morrison Hecker, based in Kansas City, Mo., would create a 750-attorney firm, the biggest in Missouri after Bryan Cave, which has about 800 lawyers.
