Associates Tracy Richelle High, of Sullivan & Cromwell, and Kieran Batts Morrow, of Morrison & Foerster, are obviously at ease striding through New York City’s corridors of power. But last summer, when their novel “FAB” hit the bookstores, colleagues got a glimpse of how the two friends might spend their after hours.

“You don’t know who’s going to assume what about you,” explains Morrow, 30. “I was a little apprehensive.” For a partner to know an associate likes to write is one thing, she says, but to tell the world in a book that your date “went south of the border and rang your Taco Bell” is quite another.
