Dallas-based Thompson & Knight is continuing its international expansion by entering into an alliance with Angolan firm R.C.J.E. Advogados Associados. Earlier this year the 426-lawyer firm opened offices in New York City, Mexico City and London. "In places like Angola and Nigeria and other countries in Africa, it's very important to have the right local people," says one Thompson partner.
