David Huebner, a former chairman of Coudert Brothers, joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton’s Los Angeles office last week, two weeks after beleaguered Coudert announced it would close its doors.

Huebner, who specializes in international dispute resolution, will be a partner in the business trial practice group. Two associates on his arbitration team will join him within weeks, and other former Coudert employees will likely follow in other divisions, he said.
