Judge Alan Green could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Prosecutors accused Green of accepting from a bail-bonding company bribes in the form of $20,000 in cash, rounds of golf and meals.

A Louisiana state judge won’t appeal a single federal mail fraud conviction reached against him last week, and in return federal prosecutors will not retry him on six other charges.
Under the agreement announced Thursday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Judge Alan Green could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
