A British court on Monday sentenced an American man to six years in jail for stealing up to 6.5 million pounds ($11.9 million) through an international identity fraud operation. Prosecutors told the court that Douglas Havard, who was born in the United States but lives in Britain, ran the British arm of an international ring of fraudsters.
