Larry Berman, a political science professor at the University of California, Davis, filed suit against the CIA recently to gain access to documents he thinks will shed light on the Tet offensive and aspects of the Johnson administration. His attorneys, of Davis Wright Tremaine, say they're working out a briefing schedule with the CIA and hope the case will be heard by early May. "You can't help but repeat history," partner Thomas Burke said, "if you don't know what your history was in the first place."
