Last winter, Mark Geragos was the king of defense lawyers, a legal superstar who was managing to represent both Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson. But with a jury this week recommending execution for Peterson, Geragos has been dealt a second high-profile rejection, following his firing earlier this year from the Jackson case. Geragos says he's "not concerned" about his career or reputation, but, as one law professor says of the Los Angeles attorney, "he has fallen from on high."
