Through Trial Lawyers Care, over 1,000 lawyers donated services -- more than 100 years in the aggregate -- to people filing claims with the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. With final awards going out this month, it's estimated that volunteers secured $2.2 billion in the largest and perhaps most successful pro bono project ever.
