A terminated Pennsylvania prosecutor claims he was fired in retaliation for supporting a political foe of the district attorney. The district attorney's office, however, cites a 3rd Circuit case that holds the DA can fire assistants who are politically opposed to him. The case is similar to a 1996 suit by another prosecutor in the same office who said he was fired and slandered in retaliation for running against his boss.
