A federal judge who had sent an insurance dispute to arbitration has now overturned the arbitration award. Judge Eduardo C. Robreno found Pennsylvania courts can review arbitrator decisions "if the decision implicates whether an insurance policy provision violates public policy or a legislative mandate." The arbitrators had favored a woman who said she should not have been subjected to her ex-husband's minimal benefits after she took over as named insured on an auto policy.
