Although some may laud the Workplace Religious Freedom Act as heaven-sent, there are those, including attorney Roger Clegg, who have their doubts. While the goal of the act is to increase accommodations in the workplace related to religious beliefs and practices, Clegg notes that religious discrimination is already specifically prohibited in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and that the WRFA will result in increased expense for employers and consumers.
