A federal court in Florida has ruled that Southwest Airlines does not need to make its Web site accessible to blind persons under the Americans with Disabilities Act because the www.southwest.com Web site is not a "place of public accommodation" under the ADA. However, with the world moving more into cyberspace, it seems that laws protecting people with disabilities in the physical world should extend to the online world.
