Olga Zamora expected to work long hours as a sales assistant in the Miami office of an investment bank. But even though she was technically an hourly employee, she claims she was never paid overtime. Zamora has now filed a lawsuit in federal court in Miami against Zurich-based Credit Suisse First Boston Corp., which acquired Zamora's employer, alleging the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.
