A 15-year-old Canadian with the computer name of “Mafiaboy” has been charged with two counts of computer mischief for crippling the CNN Web site for four hours in a February cyberattack and is a suspect in 1,200 related attacks, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced April 19.
The young man’s name and any identifying details cannot be disclosed under Canadian law because of his age. The RCMP did state that he lives in Montreal.
