A federal judge has refused to approve the extradition of a Colombian lawyer facing drug charges in his homeland. "I honestly still don't think I can find probable cause," U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles B. Smith told government lawyers. "These documents just don't do it for me." Victor Manuel Tafur-Dominguez, a lawyer working toward a master's degree in environmental law at Pace University Law School in New York, would have been the first person extradited to Colombia under a 1979 treaty.
