Disability law expert Laura Rothstein is concerned that wheelchair users will be denied the full enjoyment of watching movies at stadium-style movie theaters, thanks to a recent 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals opinion.

These theaters offer seating on a steep slope, much like at sporting events, so that patrons will enjoy an unobstructed view of the screen. Seating for wheelchairs users, though, is often located at the front of the theater, close to the screen.
