Hundreds of Fort Worth lawyers must pick through the remains of their offices and piece together their practices after tornadoes ripped through the downtown area on March 28. One of the buildings hit worst by the twister was Bank One Tower, which houses two of Fort Worth's largest civil defense firms and dozens of other firms. Even law school diplomas (along with the walls they were hanging on) were missing from some offices.

Hundreds of Tarrant County lawyers are faced with picking through the remains of their offices and piecing together their practices after tornadoes ripped through downtown Fort Worth March 28 causing heavy damage to several buildings.
At least four people were killed during the storms, which hit the city about 6:30 p.m. after most downtown workers had already gone home. There were no reports of fatalities from inside the buildings as of press time.
