A $14 million racketeering verdict against a Minnesota insurer that has bounced between Georgia’s two appellate courts for more than three years is again before the state Supreme Court.

So far, Security Life v. Clark has spawned five appellate decisions, drawn two former Georgia Supreme Court justices into the fray and prompted warnings of a crisis in the state appellate system.
