Palm Beach County, Fl A. , voters on March 14 overwhelmingly approved (with 72 percent of the vote) a School Board referendum to switch to single-district elections from the current at-large format. The vote crossed political and demographic lines and showed strong support from black and white communities, young and old voters, and Republicans and Democrats.
