Come n listen to our story bout a law’r named Jed Failed the bar a lot and nearly lost his head Then one day he read our strategy Finally passed the bar, now he’s an attorney. (Lawyer, that is. Esquire. Ambulance chaser.) Well, a week before the bar he came to a conclusion Now had come the time to let go of the illusion That he could somehow learn a subject that was new So he put away the books and decided to review. (What he’d already learned, that is. To reinforce and memorize.) Jed kept on reviewin’ till the day before the test Then he figured out that he should stop and get some rest He spent the day relaxin’, as we suggest ya do, Went to bed early and remembered to set two (Alarms, that is. Gotta have a backup.) Exam day came and went and Jed could finally gloat He knew he’d tried his best and he didn’t compare notes With anyone else; he just left it up to fate There was nothing left to do but go home n celebrate. (Party, that is. Rejoice. Paint the town red.) Remember our advice, you heard it here in verse Worrying won’t help, it’ll only make it worse Whether it be contracts, property, or tax It isn’t life or death, so take it easy and relax. (Breathe, that is. Inhale. Exhale.) Good luck, y’all. Amy Poggioli is the Director of the Editorial Department, and Lesley Yosses is the Legal Editorial Manager at MicroMash Bar Review.
