The Mitsubishi Motors assembly plant near Peoria, Ill. was hit again by an employment discrimination lawsuit, this time filed by African-American employees who claim they have been subject to racial taunts and poor training as well as saddled with undesirable jobs.
The lawsuit on behalf of nine employees was filed Jan. 18 in U.S. District Court in Peoria. Jeff Woodard, et al. v. Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America, No. 00-1038.
