A Web site geared toward women is suing a Hazlet, N.J. wife and husband in federal court, charging that they posted obscene and threatening messages on a message board devoted to the benefits of breast-feeding.
The suit, iVillage Inc. v. Howarth and Howarth, 99-5871 (NHP), filed Dec. 15 in U.S. District Court in Newark, alleges that Judith and James Howarth have posted thousands of messages on the iVillage.com message board since July.
