Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments for colon cancer since last October, she revealed in a statement released by the court Friday in response to inquiries from American Lawyer Media.

“The treatments, which commenced in October and will be completed in June, have not affected my schedule at the court,” Ginsburg said. “Following the treatments, it is anticipated that I will require only routine examinations to assure my continuing good health.”
