Second Circuit Senior Judge Jon O. Newman wanted to know if New York City really meant to evict the Brooklyn Museum of Art over its controversial “Sensation” art exhibit, which is now closed.

Pressing Assistant Corporation Counsel Leonard Koerner yesterday, Judge Newman repeatedly asked whether Mayor Giuliani wanted the controversy to end with the museum “taking all of its artifacts out of the building” and leaving the grounds.
