Musician John Fogerty says negligence and a breach of fiduciary duty by his former attorney Kenneth Sidle cost him more than a million dollars when he settled a dispute over royalties with his Berkeley, Calif.-based record company, Fantasy Inc.

Sidle, a well-known copyright expert with Los Angeles’ Gipson Hoffman & Pancione, could not be reached for comment over the holiday.
