Not long ago, cutting-edge law firms formed Internet groups and touted them as the newest niche practice. But as doing business on the Net becomes ubiquitous, I-practices may be ripe for further industry segmentation.

The 63-lawyer New York firm Moses & Singer L.L.P. announced this month it has launched an “eHealth law” practice and a separate Web site to market that practice, at www.ehealthlawtoday.com.
