A California appellate court on Tuesday ruled that corporate executives can be held personally liable for such misdeeds as misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition and interference with prospective economic advantage.
Historically, judges have only held corporations liable for those kinds of torts if the executives could show they made the illegal moves in good faith.
