In 1995, Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin was charged with aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a pistol without a license after a shooting in front of a grocery he owned. He now faces new charges of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting of two Fulton sheriff's deputies.
