A federal appeals court last week agreed to review U.S. District Judge William Alsup’s groundbreaking securities litigation order in the Network Associates class action that awarded the lucrative lead plaintiff status to a small-time investor.
Alsup originally designated a Philadelphia retirement fund as lead plaintiff in a case that will undoubtedly yield millions of dollars in attorneys fees.
