A former San Jose, Calif., deputy city attorney who said he lost his job because he ratted out a colleague’s on-the-job drinking lost his civil rights case against his ex-employer, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
The appeals court reversed U.S. District Judge James Ware, who said former Deputy City Attorney David Huskey was entitled to a trial against City Attorney Joan Gallo.
