More than a year after his book, Closed Chambers, landed like a stinkbomb in the Supreme Court community, author Edward Lazarus is enjoying life.
Lazarus, an assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles, just won guilty verdicts in an extortion trial. He is the proud father of an eight-month-old boy, Samuel. And his book sold out its 50,000-copy run and is now about to come out in paperback.
