Most people tend not to brag about being divorced. But in Los Angeles, one intrepid public relations agent sold a topflight divorce firm’s lawyers on doing just that.

The concept, says publicist Cherie Kerr, was to tell the world that the three name partners at Wasser, Rosenson & Carter are more sensitive to a client’s emotional needs because they have all been divorced themselves.
