This week’s threatened veto of federal legislation limiting Y2K liability may have been music to the ears of trial lawyers hoping to cash in on the much-touted computer bug, but a victory party may be premature.
As lobbyists battle over Y2K liability legislation, it appears a measure will likely be adopted, albeit in a somewhat watered-down form.
