Gerald Torres is the early front-runner to replace Mike Sharlot as dean of the University of Texas School of Law.
Torres, a veteran faculty member and associate dean of academic affairs, began serving last June as vice provost at UT. His duties include coordinating the university’s Latin American initiatives.
