The largest class action against an automaker to go to trial in 20 years is about to rumble into an Oakland courtroom, with opening statements scheduled for May 3.
The suit is the first of six identical cases filed around the country to go to trial. Together, plaintiffs are asking for $6.5 billion from Ford Motor Co.
