The Attorney General’s Office has hired two of New Jersey’s premiercorporate employment lawyers, Wayne Positan and Rosemary Alito, to fightthe reverse race discrimination suit by former State PoliceSuperintendent Carl Williams.

And the new outside counsel — earning the state’s bargain-basement$130- an-hour rate — appear to be readying arguments that part ofWilliams’ claim should be barred by the time restraints of the TortClaims Act.
