A Fulton judge on Nov. 8 will consider whether an Emory University nurse’s claims of invasion of privacy outweigh alleged concerns for her coworkers’ health.

Cynthia Ruocco, formerly of Atlanta, says Dr. Thomas D. Boyer, director of Emory School of Medicine’s Digestive Diseases Department, violated a Georgia statute when he viewed her medical records without her permission.
