The Attorney General’s Office has hired two of New Jersey’spremier corporate employment lawyers, Wayne Positan and RosemaryAlito, to fight the reverse race discrimination suit by formerState Police Superintendent Carl Williams.

And the new outside counsel–earning the state’s bargain-basement $130 an hour rate — appear to be readying argumentsthat part of Williams’ claim should be barred by the timerestraints of the Tort Claims Act.
