I am not a lawyer, but I’m interested in legal issues and initiallyread Mr. Lazarus’s book (Closed Chambers) with fascination. I believed much of what he said about the U.S. Supreme Court.
Then I saw Judge Kozinski’s review in Open Court, and it is devastating. How could Lazarus make so many errors? How can we trust him about anything? His hotheaded response to Kozinski just shows how irresponsible he is, substituting slurs and insults for thoughtful, reasoned analysis. What a waste of my time and money reading that book!
