The State Bar of Georgia has filed to drop its error-filled bid to disbar attorney John J. Lieb. And any effort to refile on the original or previously omitted allegations probably would be moot: Lieb says he's had it with the legal profession. "I'm sick of the law. I thought I was going to be a champion of the underdog. Instead, I became a handler of venomous snakes," says Lieb. He accuses the bar of singling him out because he was a criminal-defense lawyer rather than a well-connected, big firm attorney.
