A New Jersey plaintiff was "forum shopping" when she filed a personal injury complaint against an Atlantic City casino in Philadelphia, a common pleas court judge ruled in dismissing the action. Plaintiff Connie Endre tripped over a vacuum cleaner cord in the hallway of the casino and injured her knees, ankles and feet, according to the lawsuit filed on March 2, 1999. The casino did not contend there was improper venue but instead argued that Philadelphia was an inconvenient forum.
