A fake mail bomb that bypassed security and was delivered to U.S. District Judge Orinda D. Evans came from a man she sentenced in a similar case, authorities say.
Incoming mail is supposed to go through a magnetometer, says Deputy Arnold Perkins, a U.S. Marshals Service spokesman.
