Suspended lawyer John J. Lieb, poised for disbarment based on an erroneousbar complaint and investigation, has denied the allegations.

The State Bar of Georgia filed a notice of discipline with Georgia’s SupremeCourt two months ago to disbar Lieb. The bar alleged he charged a clientto defend him on malice murder while the lawyer allegedly was being paidby the Fulton County Public Defender. In the matter of John J. Lieb, No.S99Y1460, (Sup. Ct. Ga. June 29, 1999).
