Two former senior-level employees of the D.C. courts have filed suit againstjudiciary leaders, alleging discrimination and retaliation.

John Andrews, former chief adviser to the courts’ fiscal officer, andBarbara Kundrat, one-time deputy clerk of Superior Court, filed separatesuits in D.C. federal court earlier this month. The suits named asdefendants the Joint Committee on Judicial Administration, the D.C. courtgoverning body made up of five judges from D.C. Superior Court and the D.C.Court of Appeals.
