Two operators of a bogus weight loss program have been ordered by afederal judge in South Florida to reimburse thousands of defraudedconsumers $8.3 million.

U.S. District Judge Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. in Fort Lauderdale also hasall but put Frank J. Sarcona and Robert Wyman out of the weight lossbusiness for good. He ruled that Sarcona must post a $5 million bondand Wyman a $1 million bond before launching any new diet enterprise.The two men could not be reached for comment. But, according to theirlawyer, Guy A. Rasco of Miami, they have no plans to start a new dietventure.
