Jane Karanda felt so threatened by a co-worker at Pratt & Whitney’s Middletown plant that she was unable to work. She complained to her supervisors, but says she got little satisfaction.
So Karanda sued Pratt last year, accusing the aircraft engine company, among other things, of negligently causing her emotional distress.
