The U.S. Trustee responsible for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware has asked a federal judge in Wilmington to amend a controversial ruling criticizing her appointment of a bankruptcy trustee for the Marvel Entertainment Group, court papers show.

U.S. Trustee Patricia Staiano wants U.S. District Judge Roderick McKelvie to withdraw findings that her office mishandled the 1997 appointment of retired appeals court Judge John Gibbons as Marvel’s trustee.
