An Atlanta doctor has temporarily blocked disciplinary proceedings against him by challenging Georgia's ban on patient-doctor sexual relationships. Charles Howard Burton claims the rules are so vague they could prohibit him from treating his wife. A state board, however, says that argument makes little common sense and points out that Burton wasn't investigated by the board for relations with his wife. Instead, the agency claims the doctor had a two-year sexual relationship with a female patient.
