Alan Dershowitz may be a regular on television talk shows, and he’s made a few cameo appearances on screen. But only recently did he really put his dramatic talent to the test. Last month the Harvard Law School professor made his cartoon debut–as the voice of Turkey Lurkey, in “Henny Penny,” a retooled version of the classic tale “Chicken Little.”

The show, one in a series of updated fairy tales running on HBO, depicts Turkey Lurkey as a crooked incumbent in an election in the small town of New Barnyard. Turkey Lurkey follows every lie he tells with, “Gobble, gobble,” which Dershowitz says was by far his favorite line.
